Night Roamer
That hateful sun
With rays that burn and blister
With light that wakes a sleeping world
A peaceful world
And once awoken
The fights break out
The war spreads
Because of that hateful sun
I am a creature of night
Night is when I roam
Beneath the moon
I am my strongest
The stars comfort me
The dark soothes my burns
The night flowers
Bloom at my touch
The Nocturnal
Are my people
And when that sun shines
It hides my stars
Covers my moon
My flowers sleep
The creatures of my kingdom
Flee with the fading darkness
Only to reappear at
Twilight
That sun
With rays of fire
Slowly kills
