WILTED FLOWER

Like a flower
That sweetly blooms
In the bower;

Shedding its beauty
All around,
As its bounden duty;

You, my dear,
Did all you could
To wipe a tear

Which others shed,
As your bounden duty
And them you led..

Like a flower,
That droops down
In its bower;

Whose beauty is torn,
From this earth
In the following morn;

You, my dear,
Were made to wilt;
Though many a tear,

Could not help,
To bring you back;
In our great yelp!
