Lost...
As I live my life I feel just desperation,
When this life should be filled with exhilaration.
Our gift has been wasted through doubt and fear,
Alone and afraid we are standing here...
This world is filled with nought but self desire,
Each day it drags us deeper into the mire.
Day after day we think of us and not another,
Was this the lesson taught us by our mother? ...
This world could be such a blessed place,
It's made each day by the smile on our face.
Yet time after time this world we try to burn,
How many more chances can we earn? ...
Yet if we realise we're all the same tribe,
A new passage in existence we could scribe.
When we work out that we're sister and brother,
Perhaps we can finally live with one another...
