Just Being Nothing
Comfort zones embrace you
As you bury ostrich heads
In metaphysical sands
Of unmindful, carefree -
Superficial stands
Devoid of conviction
Unconcerned and unaffected.
They're dying, so what?
You enjoy life's consumption
When you want to be
With what you want
To be seen in,
That's life to you
It's what your fiber is!
Your words are all empty sex
And emptier is your heart
In your world of inhumanity
Existing as cold manikins
Dressed in satin Apathy
Chilling in your hollow Self,
Your eyes are seeing
but you're just being...
Nothing.
