I To Am Lost
If I can not offer you
My hand in friendship
What need do I have for hands
If you call out to me for help
And I do not reply
What good are my ears
If I can not talk to you
With words of hope and comfort
Then my tounge is just another thing
To taste life's bitterness
For if you become lost and afraid
I do not come to help as a friend
Then I too am lost
Far more then you will ever know
