Angelic Blue

I remember your frolics on the beach in your cavorting blue
Jumping to the heavens to touch the great wide blue
I could see your hair spring against the buoyant blue
Yet I remember best your eyes breathtakingly angelic blue

I remember your strokes against the currents of the ocean blue
Blending with the waves as you swim to the horizon blue
Then there you were to my gorging eyes in your delicately placed synthetic blue
Yet I was obsessed by your eyes tantalizingly angelic blue

I remember your smile against God's murals painted blue
As we journeyed through the continents from the Indian to the Pacific blue
Thanking the gods that merged our destinies blessed with a sapphire blue
With engraved memories of my first gaze at your eyes mesmerizingly angelic blue

I remember your toenails in their veneers glazed blue
And the shoes that followed the contours in their sporting blue
I see our evening jogs as we scan the coastline in its cascades of blue
As I glance a million times at your eyes mere perfection in angelic blue

I remember the tears that flowed during your fleeting blues
In your moments of trials and grief with your handkerchief ominously blue
I apologize for neglecting you even for a second in your teary blue
Hoping your moist getaways will soon re-embrace their glorious angelic blue

I remember the day I held your hand as sweat trickled pass your gown peroxide blue
As we gazed at our delicate creation picture-perfection of her maternal blue
We would see her grow to embrace our worlds in our paradise by the ocean blue
Even then mom you are still the winner in your eyes eternally angelic blue

I could see us in our glory years down by the Indian ocean blue
Staring at the ocean and stars in circadian motions of nature's blue
When I close my eyes I would only need you to sustain me in my heavenly blue
Your eyes my love….gaze at me for an eternity through your portals angelic blue
