100 days as Medical College Dean (C)
They call me as ‘Chief-guest’.
I’ve little time to rest;
I try to do my best;
I try to be well-dressed.
I feel no more suppressed;
I feel no more oppressed;
I feel no more depressed;
But I’m a bit more stressed!
I know I am quite fit;
I improve bit by bit;
My life looks all alit;
I’m wary of the ‘Pit’!
I know the good from bad;
I know life is quite sad;
I know this world’s mad;
God gave me fine a dad!
Worry can spoil the show;
God helps perform somehow;
I dislike having to toe
The line of others’, Oh!
But I’m on my own;
This is a ‘village- town’;
I am not a clown;
God will not me disown!
I have new ideas
Which look like the Himalayas;
Things move slowly, Alas!
But time will surely pass.
My days of glory are near;
I have no favor or fear;
To me, all souls are dear;
But no one must ever tear.
To all, I have an ear;
I must listen and hear
To friend, foe and peer;
And thus must I well steer!
I know that God loves me
Specially, uniquely;
I thank Him so freely;
This world is quite wily!
