Poem: In rhyme
I know I am quite sane!
I know, I am a boon, not bane;
Yet, every now and then, I get the cane!
Still, I can't hold God in disdain;
Many who I meet can well feign!
But, what have they tried to gain?
The wheel of Life must turn again;
Sometimes, I end up in a lane!
Love of God is my ambition main;
Sometimes, God gives me intense pain;
Will not the scorching Sun be followed by rain?
My sufferings make me more sane;
My sinful desires are on the wane;
From committing more sins, I try to refrain;
And the devils, I try not to entertain!
