Bathing
Bathing in a river is a fun
The flowing waters clash with your muscles
and runs past you
It fails to carry you off
where Proserpine surrounded by sea nymphs
holds her court
But dip into the waters once
And for a few seconds you foget yoursel; f
You can feel at that time the waves of nothingness
taking possession of
Think and you are amidst fire
Think and you are amidst surging sounds
It is sheer sensation and thoughtlessness
The reality then pricks you penetrates into you
pours into you waters of nothingness and life
They give you some prescience of the world
which Proserpine rules
Once you pop up from the waves you are baptised
Because you dipped in the well of light
Water and fire, light and wind, sound and silence
They remain different and yet they come to you
as if they are not different from one another
And bathin g is a great fun
