My Beating Heart Is Cinched (Quatrain)
Your scent fills my nostrils
It reminds me of spring
Its new love in the air
And of all that it brings
Oh what an aroma
There's no other like it
'Tis one I can't avoid
I fall into a fit
Oh why I ask my self
Must we be torn in two
Why on Earth can't I stop
Thinking so much of you
Why did I let you in
Deep inside of my soul
Every since I did
My heart has turned to coal
A coal that is burning
One that can not be quenched
For it is in your hands
My beating heart is cinched
