Mona Lisa
We stood together on the museum floor
and the Mona Lisa smiled.
You held my hand, then looked at me
with tender eyes so mild.
I smiled and heard you say to me
'I'd rather look at you.'
and as we left Mona Lisa watched
and once again she knew
what a smile can do.
