Only You
Lonely are these days of mine
And they seem to crawl.
And I can never liven their pace
And that makes me fall
Into a state of depression,
One to which I succumb.
My eyes weary, my fingers achy
And my thinking always numb.
Only you can change this
And bring me out of this mood.
Only you can lift my spirits
And change my attitude.
