Like memories were
Made to reinstate the past
I still think of you like
Yesterday when we were
engaged
Though you found
A new me now
And I must respect that
But I am worried and
Feel I haven't found a
New you yet.

While we were together
Just two years ago
My hope I felt, began to
Crumble on me
Because then I was facing
The most
Difficult period of my life
And my dream of a union
With you began to grow dim
As you were not too easy
on me neither
Life was cruel then,
And also I must say love was wicked too
As it took my love so far from
Me and kindled the fire
Of my desire
To be with the one I truly love.
