Take Me Not To Hades
When I die, please take
Me not to Hades
There is a place up there
I want to go.
In my past, I did things bad
Things that make me black
in my heart.
Please show me mercy
That mercy which caused
you to do it.
You did it for mankind
Don't let it pass me by.
It is atonement I seek,
May it be what I reap.
I deserve to die,
We all deserve to die.
But when I die, please
Take me not to Hades
This is my fear for ages.
It is there, up there
In my fathers home
I want to go.
