Sun Eclipse

Moon exclaimed! “My revenge is over”
All these years Sun made blanket cover,
All black spots patches on my body,
Narrating as if cruelty on me from somebody,

I am making him to pay dearly,
Twenty five years waited nearly,
Now times approaching few hours barely,
May be appearance never seen or rarely,

I was simply his shadow or satellite,
Never joyed of my own and delight,
Always cool without own light,
Weakest object without might,

I may have been symbol of love,
Never steered a course or drove,
Looked always down and not above,
Stars twinkled as if nothing to prove,

Today, I may draw sword,
Prove my worth with mighty word,
No one can save him even mighty Lord,
I shall block him without tying cord,

Earth may watch helplessly,
I shall stand in between peacefully,
Make loud laugh with mouth open fully,
Showing to world my revenge coolly,

His (Sun) face may be blackened,
Complete dark and rays deem shined,
Torture for long years on him fined,
Well little happiness on my face when smiled,

World may watch with intense interest,
How does one small object make it rarest?
He may not dare for days to come,
Surely it will be good and welcome,

I may remind him of my tiny power,
Can bring him from glory to lower,
Instances may not be more but fewer,
World may watch it with eyes keener,

An ant can kill mighty elephant,
Dreaded enemy can’t traced without man hunt,
You may see the total eclipse,
Watch my revenge with simple bless,

May be, I owe so much to him,
Never had chance or occasion to trim?
I shall calm down for another century,
You may judge it as well defined jury,
