At The Nariman Point
like two birds perched
on a damp branch
we sat there
by the mid-day sea
after days of endless
downpour that confined
us to indoors
the sky's still overcast
hand in hand
we sat and heard
nothing but the
roar of the sea that
absorbed the endless
nightmares left
unspoken for days...
that afternoon
by the heavy monsoon sea
i once again
felt re-claimed
