Trying to see the tunnel's light
This journey's fight
It bleeds my heart
The broken will
The faded zeal
Where am I now
All have come
All have promised
They are gone
With all I have missed
Hold me now
Take my hand
Show me somehow
I'll reach the land
The promised land
The distant shore
This melting iceland
It drowns my soul
With all I've lost
Sorrow seeps through
These aging pores
Silence speaks to me
I love the way she speaks
I learn the things she means
Would love to share the gist
But no one's near to move my beak
Through it all
I held on to hope
Hope is drowning
Save us both
Look at me
Am I who you used to see
