Wow, I just woke from a dream in 600BC
The 21st century reality
I'm standing right in front of you Talking to you about what's in my head
You listen intently and intensely
With your eyes glued to your gadget
Before we began to swim we began to drown
I know more of Saturn and the stars
Than of what's in your head or heart
The business of the busy man's business
Creates an emptiness, hollowness can't fill
Drowning, you're yelling, I'm yelling
I'm wrong, you're right...always right
All this fighting with aching bones
All the fury and present tension
Silence is listening and says just that word LISTEN
Egos puts a wall between us
Time takes a ruler and makes sure the distance increases
Love begs the only word he's made of FORGIVE
We stay on both sides as silence, ego and love waits
Grasping with our lungs for our last breath, love pumps his fist!
