It starts with those three little words.
Those tiny little butterflies in your darn
gut.
What the eye sees, the heart wants.
You let yourself fall so easily.
With nothing left to break your fall
Someone should have told you that
when you fall
A hand's gotta catch you.
Darn it! , nobody said it was easy
Nobody said it'll be tough either.
You're in love.
His laughter penetrates your silence
Like drunken men find flaws in science.
He couldn't be more perfect
The one you waited for your whole life.
You're happy.
Fulfilled.
Complete.
Loved.
…. .Or so it seems….
For loving eyes can never see
You don't see. You can't see.
The fog of love blinds your vision.
Love indeed is blind.
Water carries sand and time away.
Who knew?
You wanna runaway
But you can't let go.
Two halves make a whole.
You sold yours out.
Move on. Move on. You say to yourself.
But you keep going back…
To the one you love desperately…
He's gone. Moved on.
You're stuck.
You check the clock. The second hand
ain't moving.
The second hand won't move.
All's still.
His touch broke you.
His kiss melt ice…..cold, cold ice.
It's so hard letting go of the one you'll
never replace.
Tears fall to the ground.
A hand picks them. Drop by drop.
You look down.
The eye sees. The heart refuses to
want.
Ain't no falling this time.
Indifferent eyes wear goggles.
All's clear and imperfect.
He loves you. You don't care.
He loves you. You play along.
For misery does need company.
He loves you. You draw back.
Tick. Tock. Ping. Pong.
He loved. You played. He's gone.
You check the clock. The second hand
moves.
All's in motion. He's walking.
Walking away from you…to return no
more.
You got what you wanted.
You lost what you needed.
You are left with no one.
No one at all.
I ask for one minute to make you
understand.
When you love and get hurt
Love again.
For I have found a paradox, that if you
love till your heart breaks, till it hurts…
There can be no more hurt, only more
love…
