I hurt a dove
She landed on my sill
With wings of glorious heaven
She covered me with acceptance
Legitimacy
Made me feel family
Her soft voice volatile
Her pain exposed
Incantations of delicate identity
I seen her tears
I spoke of them
She flew away wounded
I call and call but she is gone
