Grey Winter Skies
Grey winter skies
As the sun hides his eyes
And a raincloud implies
It may cry.
As rivers run in fright
Of a frost laden night
A lone star does light
To ask why.
Grey winter skies
As my love hides her eyes
And a teardropp implies
I might cry.
As lovers run in fright
Of that cold final night
A lone flame will light
To ask why.
