In My View
single engine airplane
across a sunny sky
brings memories as a kid
on my back watching them fly
this feeling invoked
makes me think of you
the connection makes no sense
no logical lines I can draw to
this was a past time spent alone
a moment of rest while running home
the engine's sound still reminds me
of years ago and the fields of green
