Covered Wagons Chased
Of course he is despised.
Because of his brilliance...
He can not hide.
And this has become factualized!
A man of color...
They wish to depict as arrogant.
To pick apart his presence.
As if to make sense to rally against!
But when he speaks,
None of this is evident!
Such childish rhetoric...
Is not a cause today,
To sit well as relevant!
He has a wish to bring an end,
To divisiveness.
And this his distractors pledge not to end!
They have desires to revive,
Times long fossilized.
When cavemen dwelled under rocks.
And used clubs to beat...
And dragged home half dressed wives!
With messages of a 'brighter tomorrow'...
That leaves an aftertaste of yesterday!
When they rode in covered wagons chased...
By Indians they slayed the 'old fashioned' way!
Stalked by cowboys and bugled cavalries.
To 'update' visions on computer games played.
Hoping for a win.
To be staged over and over...
And over again!
With a 'Cane' to dis-'Able'.
