Reflections of Love
Reflections of Love
This man obsessed with the feminine gender
A romanticist of the 33rd degree
Will his gentle heart surrender
And set his wondrous spirit free.
His eyes in the stars, the moon and the sky
His soul grounded to the beautiful earth
With a thirst for his life's truest pleasure
At last awakening to his own worth.
Such gentle love of his reflection
He can't contain this loving light
He consumes her waiting heart strings
With the song of loves delight.
What fuel can flame such enduring passion,
can you see behind the mirror?
Is she there, among the roses, her voice soft and clear,
or has she gone up to the mountains
to breathe the rarest air.
I wanted to go with her.
to hold her hand and stare,
basking in the new day sun
with flowers in our hair
