Paris
Thinkin' of Paris
Always begins and ends
With thoughts of you
and how you brought
even more light
to La Ville-Lumière.
The combination
of your beauty
and the city's
was overpowerin'.
You were lovely
and I was lucky.
Even now, these thoughts
I cannot imagine
bein' without and yet
I am forlorn, mon chou,
that I am without you
and we are without Paris.
So I go there
Often in my dreams
To be with you
Spin the totem
And hope and pray
It never stops
