Fuming Hatred

They fuel my anger,
they fuel my hate.
They boil my blood,
my hate is great.

I want to kill,
I want to maim.
I want to feed
the burning flame.

Lord give me strength,
Lord give me hope.
I don't know how,
I'm supposed to cope.

I feel it burn,
I feel it gnaw.
My heart has chilled,
and it won't thaw.

I want to embrace,
and yet I hide.
I am filled,
with too much pride.

I say not no,
I say not yes.
My soul has lost,
it's lively zest.

Will you ever forgive me?
Of this I ask.
For being tainted,
from these infernal tasks.
