Land Of Grief
I know the place that you are in
Oh yes, I know it well
By day you wander through it
It seems that's where you dwell
But a heavy haze clouds everything
You struggle just to breathe
What once was so familiar
Is shrouded in your grief
My place was just like your place
But different, made for me
I too saw what you see
My grief a withered tree
And when night comes and friends are gone
And you are all alone
The haze reminds with it's cold touch
They're never coming home
You'll never have them back my friend
You're pleading is in vain
No ropes of words will help you
No tears shed in the rain
You can take my hand if you want to
While you learn to heal the pain
I'm here if you should need me
Just turn and call my name
