Promises and Dreams
This is a world full of promises and dreams
But promises don't remain as they do seem
Dreams do often take us away
From this world where we live today
I too have travelled a mile far away
Not knowing the way back I should say
But then it was only a dream I had seen
Not facing reality that it had been
I too was promised in the promise land
That I shall one day hold his hand
The days are passing quick I must say
I wonder what's coming up my way...
