Heart Print
leaving a heart print
behind my poetry
is more than leaving
a treasure
a rare treasure
forever etched in my heart
it is more
than the highest rating that I got
even if some words
are not too deep to utter
nor in a sophisticated manner
but simple words to convey
giving my simple voice behind
it is in writing poetry
that we capture in words our feelings
the magic of human life and emotions
we wanted to convey,
to reach out
to be understood
and to understand
writing poetry
is sometimes lonely
takes me
into that place
of deep feeling
that leads to praying
my conversation to a God
who knows it all,
my all, my everything
thanks a lot,
for those wonderful heart prints
you wonderfully
and lovingly left behind
it means so much to me
they are....
