Don't Tell Me
Don't tell me that you love me.
Don't tell me that you care.
What we have here is a simple little affair.
Of that you're well aware.
We meet in desperation,
to escape the lonley pain.
We don't love eachother, that is very plain.
Though it does feel very good to be with you.
To know I'm not alone.
Don't tell me that you've found someone,
so now our trust is gone.
I really need you close at hand.
For when things have not gone as planned.
Your tender words, your presence true.
Don't tell me that it's thru.
We need eachothers company to lighten up the mood.
It's always nice to know you're there.
Even if it's only an affair.
Don't tell me you need true love and commitment too.
If you do I'll leave you too.
I'll lay here in your arms till the end of time.
As long as you tell me it's not a crime
