Kick that can
Resounding rattle
Pockets tugged down
With loves lost battle
Stubborn kicks
Along the road
Shoulders low
A loveless load
We've all been there
And cans we've dented
At dented hearts
How we repented
But life goes on
Just like that walk
Until we meet
Another fork
And hope we steer
True loves direction
With can squashed flat
In retrospection
