The Black Dog

When I was mischievous and playful,
My dreadful uncle made me afraid of dog,
Soon I became horrid and pale,
My mother sheltered me in her lap,
Singing a lullaby lulled me asleep,
I felt flying over the forest,
Thick, dark and shadowy,
Landing into the deep steeps,
Chasing a black dog behind.
