The Game
I may not be the best but I can ball
You may beat me but I will give it my all
Basketball is my favorite sport yea we know that song
But we're my real ballers at?
The ones who be outside shooting jumpers all day long
When Mom and Pops get mad because you stayed out so late
Running home to eat that cold plate
It's all good though I'll eat that cold dinner with pride
Cause I know one day Ma and Dad gone be proud
Remember that first game mad cause ya lost?
Felt like part of you died along with that crowd
Nothing to be ashamed though you gone show em all one day
You thought to yourself 'Imma be like MJ I gotta make it to the NBA'
No matter what they say 'Nick you suck, give up, go home'
All that talk is motivation and will lead me one step closer to the throne.
