Myopia
You were far
When I needed you near;
I was heartless
When you needed a heart;
You talked
When I needed you to listen;
I unraveled less
When I pried deeper.
We are dazed by love
Tormented by anguish
And defeat
Is our only creed.
We were
On the same page
But never
On the same edge.
This is how it works
When we never really
Have the same visions.
