Over and Out
Its over.
No longer able to overawe
You try overbearing,
But I am no longer overborne.
Overselling yourself
Your overinflated ego
Overstates your case.
Overlain with sentiment
An overture of love,
Or what passes for love,
In your overlarge imagination.
You try to overpower.
Overrule my heart,
Overestimate my feelings.
So now long overdue
At last I overcome,
Am over you.
Now you overstay your welcome,
Overextend your stay.
A hangover,
Casting a pall over all.
Overstepping the mark.
Becoming overwrought
You've overplayed your hand.
Nothing more to say
So it's over and out.
