These All Entice Me
the sound of a bus leaving the city
the picture of a highway
and the old town far away from here
where i am seated and
not waiting for someone to love
the sound of a jet plane stabbing the
sky for an asian destination
the white beaches of Thailand
and the old temples of Myan Mar
the sound of putting off a television
that last clicking sound and then the silence of the room
all these are so enticing.
