Poets Words
The poets words,
Of the heart
For a love, lost!
On deaf ears
They tumble
From lips that tremble
Passion spoken
Lost on the wind
Who heeds not his cry
Trees listen
Only to laugh
Cast them to the streams rocks
Water flows
Carrying them cold
To oceans large and bold
The waves they toss
Words, meaning now lost
In a storm, in anger
Upon a deserted beach
Of the desolate heart.
