Young Lovers
Love like a blanket descend
Lovers as two people blend
We are wrapped in each other’s caresses
Floor piled in cast-off dresses
I could see and explore some downy hair
That I was not aware that was there.
Slipping snail tongue to sensual ripple
Grows and flows to upright nipple.
A crushing gushing desire
Erupting in tortuous fire.
Looking into fluid blue eyes
In the dark when you and I
(stifled cries)
Are apart:
Can we crawl through this emotional maze?
Distorted, convoluted
Lost as in a juvenile craze.
Is love like the swirls of a red skirt
Caught by a windy gust
Just a flirt?
Moments of modulated lust
And misplaced trust.
Will love be that surge
Before the fall?
A purge
Is love a warm melancholy,
A one carat crystal of folly
A sentimental event, a Chanel scent
For two to dance
A pheromone romance?
Maybe our love is just warm and wondering,
Lovers tendering each others tendering,
A whispered need and a planted seed.
Into each of us a little flower,
It’s our loving lovers’ power.
