Moon Exercise
Check out the moon
Glowing so cool
I'll listen to a tune and think about school
Trying to catch up
Falling behind
Doing this as a makeup
So please grade kind
the moon is full
You can't fake that power
Feel the difference in the water while you shower
I don't really know where to go
Pen on paper makes easy flow
The moon
So sad, so alone, so cold
Forced to orbit this planet on it's own
No friends, no relatives or plant life
Just a cold, barren, empty rock (with no bud to light)
The moon doesn't stand a chance
Going against the sun
See her light shine one second your done
Always living in shadow
Can't help but feel the pain
Looking at the moon
Standing in the rain
