Now you cry a river
as you're lying here dreaming
you opened up your eye's
and started believing
but it's too late now to care
everything that we have here is gone
there is no more forever
it's too late now to realize
what we done wrong
everything that we have here is gone

Was a time you could've lend a hand
but you never would make a stand
said it was just part of God's plan
so you just sat there watching the destruction
as we fade away into nothing
now everything that we have here is gone
did it come to you as a surprise
when you never heard that morning bird
sing it's last song
now everything that we have here is gone

So now you cry a river
as you're lying there dreaming
feeling no one was there
you opened up your eye's
to find everything that we have here gone
was it worth hiding behind the lies
through the words you only heard
now everything that we have here is gone
