My Own
The road I choose is my own
I follow no one
each day is my own destiny
as I walk through the unknown
of life's journey
I am not a puppet
tied to your strings
or a slave
trapped in your world of lies
of your false religion
hiding behind your disguise
lost in your own illusion
I am my own person
without greed and temptation
this world brings
I hold no regret
for the things I have done
none I will take to my grave
when all of this is gone
