Sentiment Is Selfish
Sentiment is selfish
Born of blind eyed men
Still boys at heart
Who keep the woman as a 'native'
In a dolls house full of chintz
And floral covered photgraphs
They crave like oedipus
Blind eyed and smothered
For a mothers love
They pin their hopes on
' Next weeks recipe'
And apron strings
Off which their hairy fingers hang
Their minds unhinged
By faye things
'Mary poppins'
The female 'piped piper'
calling all the lost and orphan children home
Clueless
They searched for delia smith or fanny craddock
[if they're old]
Not Cherie Blair or Condeleezza Rice
Coupling the two
Would be an awful vice!
They hunger for puff pastries 'sweets meats' and fries,
Not politics or rhetoric or wit
For love is in 'her eyes'!
And in her turkey thighs
All other sense is lies
But this!
Another metaphor for women
is 'Slave mother to domestic bliss! '
