A River to The Sea
A river makes my water flowing to the sea
I'd never see
My courage, my love
Have all passed and been lost
In a place where I left them
Safe and sound
Too-high dreams breaks every part of me
Like the moon steal the day from the sun
Wind carries the whisper of heaven
But I've forgotten the language
So I just sit and wonder
'How long should I wait here,
Until an angel falls down and takes me away? '
My skin is growing old
And my eyes are getting bloody with tears
I'm not tired
I'm not scared
I'm just hopeless
.. In time I know I'll be hopeful
And in this road-pavement
With pebbles scattered like broken glass
Inside a broken home,
My soul will get better
When courage and love
Find me as well as they will get me someday
When birds don't fly just to see the world
Life is much better walked
When trees still breathe my used air
When all is fair
All around will get me the way they did
I know it'll be alright in time
And if the time is now
So be it.
