A Smile Spreads Across My Face
here goes nothing
i hope this message sinks deep
but these feelings are
a secret i cant keep
i hope it doesnt change the way
you think about me
i hope it helps you
open your eyes and see
when i see you in the hall
when i see your face
you gotta smile
that lights up this place
i kinda shake
when we walk
i get really nervous
when we talk
i hate school
when youre not there
cause i dont get to see you
and its not fair
i may not be
your dream guy
but i can do
is hope and try
nothing feels right
when youre sad
everythings wrong
everythings bad
i cant hold it back
im so sorry
thisll probably ruin our friendship
and i cant help but worry
i got no chance
but im trying to look on the bright side
but everytime i see you
i wanna run and hide
your hair is gorgeous
your face is too
im lost and confused
i dont know what to do
i daydream about you
during every class
and youre the personal problem
god im a dumb ass
i hope this means something
ive put it all on the line
and i hope that this poem
works as a sign
i hope you understand
make an exception for this case
cause when i see you
