A sonnet - On Rashmika's Wedding
A sonnet - On Rashmika's Wedding
As white-mist chill fine descends too low
Over thy abode atop a mountain high
Ye, the daughter of fair one lofty above
Couched, comforted in life cool, cushy though
Little birds chirp perched on creepers low
Wake gently, rich Sam's sweet pet
As east's eye in the sky doth open
Gently, too gently wake and see without
A charming, young lad, too stately person
Presented here, young dame's hands to take
Blush thee? ! Behold him in bloom full
To clasp, to wed and in sweet bond fuse
For Angels, Cherubims, men and women all
Bless anon, shower flowers on couple at ease.
