Are you happy now?
Bound and shackled,
I kneel here,
Cold and Bloody,
Humiliated, broken…
Are you happy now?
In a tiny cell,
Claustrophobic Hell,
You grind and you moan,
I gasp for breath again, at your mercy,
Are you happy now?
Violated and angry,
I tug at my chains,
And a monotonous laugh
Resonates against my mind,
Are you happy now?
I am woman,
I am child,
I am everything,
I am nothing,
Are you happy now?
Grotesque and spread eagled,
Against the cold hard stone,
Listening to the desperate cries of the young and the innocent,
Listening to death…
Mr. Prime minister….
Are you happy now?
