Buried In The Sea Of Sickness
there is no shame in hope
and seeing the best in another
in a life where education is learned
by masses from slander
to give in would be the deadliest
and i attest
that knowledge is not knowing
and knowing can often derive
from naivety and hatred
of the one in whom you listen
be careful in the stock you hold
be careful in faith and where it lies
it lies
more than not
he can see an interest
not for interests sake
but for his own
death comes to every flower you pick
no matter how hard you sustain its life
it will wither from your good intention
to keep beauty and colour
take with you nothing
but the ground you believe
you stand upon
and plant your feet so you can soar
above the fight
above discrimination
above power
and wealth
above insecurity
and thought of security
above the sea of sickness
our appetites have craved
from lack of drive in flavor
close your eyes
and see the cockroach
you're invested with
shake free of this night
and lies tries and faith
with no beginning
there is no end
and i am ready
to step forth
