By every enduring word and softest caress
Which filled love with such sweet happiness
Have you learned to heed its sensuous spell?
Aurora's soul mate, it adores the evening well
The sharp identity of boundless bliss!
Of all we felt of life can surpass this
Till quickened sense touch the merry shine
Of wood nymph's wishes that flash on mine
As dawn led by Love Immortal, went away
And held the importunate nightmares at bay
Keep thou amidst the gentle of thy days
Upon the White Heaven's swift argosies
