Mr. Sad Observes Hummingbird Aggression
Mr. Sad wakes up the next morning
Suffering from the heart disease
Called love
Loves leaves for the day
Not thinking once
Of Mr. Sad
Being the closest to the situation
Mr. Sad is furthest from reality
Being a self-starter
When it is convenient
And
Capable by himself
But
Distrusting of crowds
He is still Mr. Sad
Unable to stand being
The ultimate melancholy
Mr. Sad makes himself relevant
He studies the fairy named 'Lollygag'
Mr. Sad
Laments the profligate stupidity
Of political grotesques
Knows food and sin are linked
And is leaning that life is about losing control
Mr. Sad likes to be hysterically happy
He is happier still
When writing poems for the miserable
Observing hummingbird aggression, or
Making dinosaurs noises
I bet you're yearning for the juicy details
of this poetic rhetoric.
