My Beautiful Scotland

From the emerald rolling hills
Dotted with meandering sheep
To the treasured Sweetheart Abey
I can see it all in my sleep

The scenery is unlike any other
As you across the entire world
It makes a dream vacation too
Into another place I’m whirled

The gorgeous trees of autumn
Skirt along the pristine lakes
Romantic, yes so romantic
As this special journey I take

Magnificent ancient buildings
You’ll forever remember them
They will put you back in time
To where architecture began

Oh yes, it’s such a pleasure
To be in Scotland once again
Whether in reality or in my dreams
I love my cherished homeland!
